Al Roker Returns to 'Today' After Health Issues

Beloved Weatherman Grateful for Support

One Year After Surgeries

Al Roker, TODAY's beloved weatherman, returned to the show this month after several weeks away due to health issues including blood clots. In an interview with CNN, Roker said he is "grateful" for the support he has received and is "looking forward to getting back to work."

Roker underwent multiple surgeries for various health issues over the past year. In November 2022, he was hospitalized for blood clots in his legs and lungs. He subsequently underwent surgery to remove the clots and was released from the hospital in December.

In January 2023, Roker was hospitalized again for dehydration and fatigue. He was released from the hospital after a few days and has been recovering at home.

Roker said he is "feeling much better" and is "excited to get back to work." He is expected to return to TODAY full-time in the coming weeks.

Roker's return to TODAY was met with overwhelming support from viewers and colleagues. Many took to social media to express their joy and relief that he is back on the air.

Roker's health journey has been a reminder of the importance of taking care of oneself and seeking medical attention when necessary. His positive attitude and determination have inspired many.

As Roker continues his recovery, we wish him all the best and look forward to seeing him back on TODAY every morning.
